Carole K. McKenzie
Carole Kathryn McKenzie, 69, of Hedgesville, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 in Elmcroft of Martinsburg.
Born January 7, 1944 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Matcheson) Sopp.
She worked for 23 years for the Eastern Panhandle Federal Credit Union.
Carole was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Hedgesville. She loved to bake and cook, go camping, and spend time with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 49 years, Ronald "Mac" McKenzie; two daughters, Cara May and Barb McKenzie, both of Martinsburg; one son, Michael McKenzie of NY; four grandchildren, Josh and Brad May, and Ashley and Page McKenzie; one brother, John Sopp of CT; and one sister, Susan Petrella of SC.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11 AM in St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 109 W. Main St., Hedgesville, WV.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to St. Bernadette Catholic Church, or Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Ct., Martinsburg, WV 25403.

Pam Kochale
Carole was always willing to lend a hand, be the first one to smile about anything, loved a good time and her family. She always made time for everyone. I will miss her. I didn't get to see Carole that often, but when I did, I had a great visit and got cought up on what each of Carole's kids were doing.
