Carolee J. Mullis, 81, of Bloomington, died peacefully Sunday, November 29, 2015 in her home with her family at her side. She was born December 19, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Harold Fleetwood, Sr. and Helen Houston Fleetwood. She had been a realtor for Dunn Real Estate.
Survivors include her six children, Kenneth Michael "Mike" Mullis and his wife Betty, Steven L. Mullis and his wife Joetta J, Becky Neal, Shelly Jacobs and her husband Jeff, Penny Ryan and her husband John all of Bloomington and Candy Robbins and her husband Michael of Bedford; a brother, Robert Fleetwood; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; her beloved pets, Homer, Bubby and Sissy; and several nieces, nephews and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Earl Mullis; and an infant brother, Harold Lester Fleetwood, Jr.
Carolee was a long time member of Hindustan Church. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. An avid mushroom hunter and animal lover, she often said "when I get to Heaven I hope God lets me take care of all the animals".
Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 1:30 PM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W Gourley Pike with Pastor Michael Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Hindustan Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
The family would like to extend their thanks to I.U. Health Hospice for the excellent care and compassion shown to Carolee in her final days.

This dear lady was and still is my other Mom. She was a very brave woman who fought this terrible disease with grace and dignity. I lioved her much and always will I miss her... Daughter-in-law, Joetta
