Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday July 1 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Bryan. Caroline was a native of Bryan and a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School. After working for many years in the banking industry, she married Dr. Kenneth Eng, PhD and became actively involved, as the chief financial officer of Eng Ranches, in their land business and cattle research and consulting operations. Their business ventures led them to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada. When traveling, Caroline always enjoyed the opportunity to shop.

Caroline and Ken resided at their home in San Antonio and their ranch in San Louis Obispo County, CA. Her great love of animals was only surpassed by her love for family and friends. She will be remembered as someone who lived life to the fullest.

Caroline is preceded in death by her father, Leonard (Buddy) McDonald.

She is survived by her mother, Carrie McDonald of Franklin; husband, Dr. Kenneth S. Eng of San Antonio; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas McBride Jr. and Debbie of Bryan; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise McBride Littlejohn and Michael of Bryan, Laura Eng, Julie Eng Louge and Joe all of Arizona; grandchildren, Casi Conrad and husband Jake, Douglas McBride III and wife Brittany, Chandler Littlejohn, Jamie Botkin, Matthew, Michael and Mason Kortsen and Kevin Louge; great-grandchildren, Baylee and Brooklyn McBride; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

"Kenneth: I was sad to hear about Caroline. She was a great person. Take care of yourself. Frank Prouty"
