Carolyn Ann Herzberg (Hensel) age 73, of Cape Coral, FL passed away at Cape Coral Hospital on September 25, 2017 following a lengthy illness. She was born August 20th 1944 to the late Adam L. and Marian (Gilarski) Hensel.
Carolyn grew up on the family dairy farm in Pulaski, WI where she attended Polandi Grade School and was a 1962 graduate of Pulaski High. Shortly after graduation she moved to Chicago, IL. She met Irving J. Herzberg and married on December 12th 1964. A couple of years later they were blessed with a baby girl on August 30th, 1966. In 1978 they moved to Cape Coral, FL and called it home. Carolyn was a gentle, loving, and caring person, who sure loved her boxer dogs.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Patrice Ann Herzberg-Alt; 3 granddaughters, Courtney Ann (Steve) Rodriguez, Tangika Alt, and Cassidy Alt; 3 sisters, Virginia De Pas, Beatrice (Jim) Szymaszek, Marian (Randy) Roberts; as well as 5 nephews, 2 nieces and a number of great nieces and nephews, and her pet boxer, Tanner.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Irving J. Herzberg; parents, Adam L Hensel and Marian Hensel; and her brother-in-law, William DePas.

Missing you so so much... more then words can possibly be said...it's only been a few days but already feels like a life time. People may say it gets easier but as of right now it just seems to be getting harder. But I know in my heart you and daddy are happy to be back together again. (laughing and dancing away) and you having no more pain. Thank you for always being there for me. I was so blessed to have you as my mother.
