Carolyn J Renfroe, 55, passed away at her home in Havana Tuesday night (8/8) after a prolonged illness. Carolyn was a Florida native who had lived in the Tallahassee/Havana area since 1979. She was retired from the Governor's Office of Policy and Budget where she worked for over 30 years. Her hobbies included gardening in her yard, bird and nature watching, spiritual reading, and spending time with those she loved. Carolyn's fiance' was very special to her and she loved him dearly. She loved her family and was especially proud of her son, her pride and joy.
Survivors include her son, James (Heather) Grant of Tallahassee; her grandsons : Anthony, Jordan and Seth; her fiancé, Ronnie Spears of Havana; her mother, Mona Evans of Havana; sisters: Janet Renfroe, Barbara Leighty, and Marcia Singleton all of Havana; a niece: Amanda (Cole) Leighty & a nephew: Chris Leighty, both of Tallahassee and an aunt: Ruby Scott.

I am heartbroken to hear about Carolyn's passing. I worked with her numerous times at Miracle Hill in the therapy department. She had such a sweet and gentle disposition. I am so very sorry for your families loss.

Jamie, Jeanne (probably spelled it wrong...a/k/a Barbara), Chris & Amanda, Mona, Janet, and Marcia...please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. My heart is so saddened to hear of this loss. I loved her dearly...Carolyn always held a special place in my heart and always will.
