Obituary

Carolyn Wooten Camp, age 82, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 15th, 2010. Carolyn was born May 11th, 1928 in Abilene, TX., to Pharier Wooten and Caroline Wilson. She married Albert Dale Camp December 18th, 1965 in Odessa, TX. Mrs. Camp retired in May 1987 after teaching 35 years. She taught 27 of those years at Burnet Elementary. She was charter member of Bethany Christian Church and was very strong in her faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents. Carolyn Wooten Camp, age 82, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 15th, 2010. Carolyn was born May 11th, 1928 in Abilene, TX., to Pharier Wooten and Caroline Wilson.
She married Albert Dale Camp December 18th, 1965 in Odessa, TX.

Mrs. Camp retired in May 1987 after teaching 35 years. She taught 27 of those years at Burnet Elementary. She was charter member of Bethany Christian Church and was very strong in her faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents.

Mrs. Camp is survived by one son, Michael Wayne Jennings, his wife, Helen Jennings of Odessa, a step-son, Roger Dale Camp of Wynnewood, OK., two brothers, James P. Wooten of Grand Prairie, TX., and Gray Wooten of Buffalo Gap, TX., two granddaughters, Trina Lynn Jennings and Michele Yvonne Thompson and husband Aaron Thompson, two great-grandsons, Jaiden Thompson, and Zander Thompson, all of Odessa. Also surviving are two nieces, Jan Wiggins and Ann Drew.
Mrs. Camp is also survived by four step grandchildren Jennifer Nell Sparks and her sons, Cole Sparks and Beau Sparks, all of Wynnewood, OK., Dora Poitevint, her sons, Calder Poitevint, and Bennett Poitevint, all of Odessa, TX., and John Poitevint of Cibolo, TX., Also surviving Mrs. Camp is the mother of her granddaughters, Karen Jennings.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 17th at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Christian Church in Odessa, TX. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
