Carolyn J. Mullins, 78, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Cremation has taken place and Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 23, 2012 at Ankeny Funeral Home, 1510 W. First St., Ankeny.
Carolyn was born in Osceola, Iowa on July 7, 1933 to W.J. and Wona McClure. She was an Elementary Teacher and retired with the Ankeny School System.
She is survived by her son, William Mullins of West Des Moines; brother, Caryl (Marty) McClure; and two grandchildren, Scott and Kelcee Mullins.
Carolyn's family would like to give a special thank you to the families of Kelly Carlson, Russ Howe, and Cindy Sinclair for their friendship and care.
