BOVOS, Catherine (nee Mikrogiannakis)
Passed away quietly with her family by her side at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa August 6, 2017 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Kyriakos (Charlie) for 50 years. Loving mother of John (Renée) and Paul (Thespina). Cherished Yiayia of Katerina, Nelly, Charlie and Vivian. Dear sister of Angela (Steve), Chris and the late Theodora (Loula) and sister-in-law of Konstantina (Nick). Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Durham Region Cancer Centre and Lakeridge Health-Oshawa Hospital. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, August 9th from 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the EVANGELISMOS TIS THEOTOKOU SAINTS NECTARIOS AND GERASIMOS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH (399 Farewell St., Oshawa) on Thursday, August 10th at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations can be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society.
