Gerry, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember so many wonderful events attended by your family and mine at DLS. My condolences to you and your beautiful family

I was shocked to hear of Catherine's passing. I taught kindergarten with her in our early years of teaching at St. Lawrence in Metairie. I am also her neighbor, living just a few streets over. I saw her very recently while she was walking her dog. Unfortunately, we had not kept up with each other, so I don't know the details of her passing.

Dear Gerry and family,
Many years ago, you and Catherine would join the DLS family to celebrate so many different occasions. Those were wonderful years. Memories are such a strong way to keep in touch. Although my teaching schedule will not make it possible for me to be with you all on Tuesday for the funeral, you can be sure that I will be with you in spirit and prayer during the day.
