Catherine May Conner was born on November 4, 1946. in Centralia, Washington to James and Betty Horne. She graduated from Centralia High School in the top 10 of her class in 1964. She later attended the University of Washington and The Evergreen State College, receiving a degree in Psychology. She married Robert John Conner, and they had a son, John Easton Conner in 1970. Cathy moved to Olympia in 1973. Some of her favorite pastimes were reading, boating, camping, and weekends at the family cabin. Catherine May Conner was born on November 4, 1946. in Centralia, Washington to James and Betty Horne. She graduated from Centralia High School in the top 10 of her class in 1964. Cathy had a strong compassion for wildlife and nature, and participated in many groups such as the World Wildlife Foundation, National Wildlife Federation, and Defenders of Wildlife. In 2008, her Grandson Grant Alden Conner was born, and was a joy to her. Cathy died at home on November 9th, 2012. She is survived by her two sisters, Judy Brown and Joni Merryhew, her son John, his wife, Erica, and their son Grant.
