Obituary

OLD TOWN and PRESQUE ISLE - Cecelia Brasslett Fullenkamp, 91, died peacefully Sept. 27, 2010, at Presque Isle Rehab & Nursing Center. She was born Sept. 14, 1919, in Ashland, daughter of Joseph and Celina (Goslin) Brasslett. Cecelia was an avid and capable gardener, coaxing amazing results from flowers and vegetables alike. She loved to remodel and build, and was undaunted by outsized projects: jacking barns, laying concrete, surfacing flagstone, and directing everyone else in the process. In her last few years she has enjoyed teasing and sharing stories with the many loving staff members at the nursing home. She never lost her wit...
