Cecil A. Quick, 59 year-old resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away August 19, 2013 in Harrah, Oklahoma. Born May 12, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was the son of Cecil Jackson Quick and Dora Katheryn (Walker) Quick. Cecil was an assembly line worker at the General Motors plant here in Oklahoma City for years. He enjoyed playing baseball, bowling, fishing, Bingo, and helping in the garden. Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Edna in 1989. Survivors include his father Cecil J. Quick and his mother Katheryn Quick; 1 daughter, Faith Katheryn Quick; 1 grandson, Aaron Richland Wade; 2 granddaughters, Suzanna Rae Wade and Emily Jayne Wade; 2 sisters, Eva Gayle Hedger and Jacquita Pearl Parker; and a host of nieces and nephews; other family; and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Choctaw, Oklahoma with Reverend Gerald Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
