A feeling of great melancholy washed over me as I received the news of the passing of your mother. Walking into your home in the old Buckeye Road neighborhood in Cleveland always meant being met with warmth -- and incredible smells from the kitchen. Losing a loved one is difficult, but the loss of a mother is a singular experience when that mother/child bond is forever changed. You were blessed to have her for so many years, and oh, how blessed was she to have children who cared for her during her long life! My prayers go out to you, Barb, and your family.
