Chad Travis Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 30, 2016.

Chad was born in Upland, California, on March 2, 1986. He was raised in Rialto and San Dimas, California. He was a resident of the high desert since 2006.

Chad enjoyed his family and friends most of all. He always enjoyed the family camping trips. He loved to talk to people, especially veterans who shared our history with him. He loved motorcycles both street or dirt. The road trips were his passion. He loved adventure and the unknown.

He is survived by his father Robert Travis, his mother Lori Spencer, his grandparents Edith Travis, Ted and Garnet Vanatta, his aunts and uncles, Jerry and Diana Gates, Bob and Terri Weister, and Mike Vanatta, his cousins Amanda Gates, Jason Weister, Jolene Osborne, Sarah Rodriguez, April Gillespie and Chris Vanatta, his close friend Nate Miller, his dog Harley and cat Dodie.

Chad,
I will always remember the first time I met you and your dad over 10 yrs ago....As a passenger on the bike I would watch you and say to myself be careful, watch that car and after awhile I said shoot this kids a pro. Just watching you and your dad together was awesome. I will never forget the last camping trip we all took, you were having a blast watching your dad I can still hear you laughing. Rest in Peace Chad.

I'll always remember seeing Chad at the gym...he worked out hard, but had a soft heart! Living across the street from his Grandparents, Edith and Jerry, we got to see Chad grow up, and spend many family gatherings with him. Hard to believe he's gone. We're incredibly saddened by his death and the rollercoaster of emotions that his family will experience. Words just aren't enough Robert...
