What a sweet lady Cherry was. I worked with her at Blount and had lots of correspondence with her after I left Montgomery. I am saddened to hear of her passing and send my deepest sympathies to Steve and Linda. I hope wonderful memories of your Mom will bring you comfort at this time.

I will miss you so much my dear friend and fellow switchboard operator! You will live in my heart and prayers always. Thank you for the special times we've shared together and Cherry I know you are dancing with the angels now.... My thoughts and prayers are with you Steve and Linda and I know your 'special memories' will bring you comfort and peace at this sad time. The Blount family were so fortunate to have Cherry in our lives and we all share wonderful memories also, of a gracious 'Southern' lady. And....the Lord put his arms around her and whispered "Come with Me".

My deepest sympathies to Cherry's family. I worked with her at Blount in the early 60's when the company was in the Frank Leu Building. When the company was preparing bids, the double switchboard that Cherry operated was divided into two switchboards and I would assist her with the incoming/ outgoing calls. She was truly one of the most delightful ladies I have had the honor of knowing and was a true lady in every sense of the word. Her sweet disposition and kindness will be missed. Rest in peace, Cherry.

I worked with Cherry at Blount and have often thought of her through the years. She was a wonderful person and role model and she had such a lust for life! I don't think I ever saw her in a bad mood. Cherry was very loved. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to hear of Cherry's passing. I know there is a better place for her. She always had that cheerful smile and outlook on life. We worked together in pre-Blount days at the Meadow Corporation office on South Boulevard and again in adjoining offices in the Frank Leu Building starting in 1967. We shared a lot of good times during the work day. She will definitely be missed. My prayers are with her family.

Cherry was always set such a wonderful example in her work ethic and I truly believe she dedicated her work at Blount, Inc. to the Lord and that's why she was so loved, and successful. She was a ray of sunshine to all who entered Blount, Inc., and she will be enjoying the Sonshine of Jesus himself in her heavenly home. Wayne and Brenda Hicks

My heart is sad with the loss of Cherry, but Heaven is brighter with a new Angel. Sweet lady, I love you and miss you! And what "a bright star" she was to all of us at the receptionist desk when we came through the front door to work at Blount, Inc.!! She truly started our days off right! I will never forget her pretty smile and sweet disposition! Cherry never aged and was always ready for her next cruise and dance! My prayers and love are with you Steve and Linda.
