Charity Gail Frye Piotrowski, 33, of Savannah, died Friday, Jan 18, 2013 at Memorial Medical Health University, after a lifetime illness. She was born in Decatur, Ga., and was a Graduate of Savannah High School, Class of 1998. She is survived by her mommas, Joni Gail York and Tammy Clements; father, Wallace W. Frye, Sr., (Patty), 2 brothers, Wallace W. Frye, Jr., (April), and John Bradley Frye (Letha). She is survived by her maternal grandparents, Phyllis Killen and the late James R. Killen, Sr., of Savannah, Ga., and Boyd Ernest York of Arjay, Kentucky, and her Fiancé, Thomas M. Cameron. Charity was preceded in death by a sister,...
Charity Gail Frye Piotrowski, 33, of Savannah, died Friday, Jan 18, 2013 at Memorial Medical Health University, after a lifetime illness. She was born in Decatur, Ga., and was a Graduate of Savannah High School, Class of 1998. She is survived by her mommas, Joni Gail York and Tammy Clements; father, Wallace W. Frye, Sr., (Patty), 2 brothers, Wallace W. Frye, Jr., (April), and John Bradley Frye (Letha). She is survived by her maternal grandparents, Phyllis Killen and the late James R. Killen, Sr., of Savannah, Ga., and Boyd Ernest York of Arjay, Kentucky, and her Fiancé, Thomas M. Cameron. Charity was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Hope, and her paternal grandparents. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, Diane and Allen Harbin, Nancy and Bernard Cantrell, James and Kelligh Killen, and Robert W. Killen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and close special friends, Alyssa, Belinda, Danielle, Ashton, Lori and many many others who loved her. Charity was a member of the FBLA and the Moose Lodge's Women's Auxiliary., Savannah Chapter 1361. She was an avid volunteer for the Sand Gnat's Baseball Team, the Humane Society, and Bethesda Home for Boys, Union Mission, American Red Cross, and Feed the Hungry. Charity did fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Bethesda Home for Boys, American Red Cross and several others. She did the American Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces. Charity loved life and lived it to the fullest despite having Cystic Fibrosis. She enjoyed good times with Family and Good Friends, and she especially loved spending time with her nephews, taking them to baseball games, fishing and crabbing. Visitation: 5 -8 p.m. Sunday at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Ga 31406. Pallbearers will be: Wallace W. Frye, Jr., John Bradley Frye, Roger Harbin, Andon Rowe, Joey Clements, Ashton Folsom, C.J. McConvey and Thomas M.Cameron. Junior pallbearers will be: Blake Rowe. Funeral Services: 11:30 a.m. Monday, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Jonathan Monhollen and Rev. Canas Blackston, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
