Charlene Kay Miller aged 84, of Grand Rapids and formerly of Rockford passed away Friday, December 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill (Nancy) Ammerman and Reva (Phil) Pell. Kay will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years Les, children; Steve Miller, David Miller, Jayne (Joe) Fischer, Gary Miller, 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brother Melton (Carol) Ammerman and many nieces and nephews. Kay was raised on her family farm in Rockford and graduated from Creston High School. She later attended Michigan State University. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will take place in Grand Haven, MI. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Association.
