Charles “Chuck” Alfred Benson was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Mr. & Mrs. J. Leland & Lucie Virdilla Benson on October 20th, 1924 and passed away in Seattle, Washington on April 30th, 2017.
Chuck served in the Navy & during his honorable service, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas, and worked as an Engineer at Boeing for 40 years. He loved to sing & was a member of the Barbershop Quartet, proudly named “National Senior Champions”, & his church choir.
He leaves sister, Ann Moore, friend, Carla Hendrickson, & many dear ones to cherish his beloved memory.
Chuck will be privately placed to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery of Kent, Washington.
A Memorial Service will be held at his church of 35+ years, University Presbyterian: 4540 15th Avenue Northeast, Seattle, Washington 98105 on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to any charity.
