I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when day is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
of happy times, and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve
to dry before the sun
of happy memories I leave behind
when day is done.
Charles A. Heun, Jr. was born on February 14, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa to Charles and Patricia Heun and passed away in Black Canyon City, Arizona on February 17, 2017. He was preceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by four sisters:Beverly, Cassy, Cyndi, and Tonya and one brother Jonathan along with 32 adoreable nieces and nephews.
Charles has lived in Phoienix, Arizona for 45 years. He had a huge heart and would be the first person to give you the last shirt off his back. Maybe that's why he never had one on!
He was an avid pool player and made many friends doing so.
Charles also was an extreme animal lover, forever trying to rescue any animal and bring them home (when he wasn't rescuing his sisters)
He was loved by all that knew him and will be dearly missed.
Services will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017, beginning with a Memorial Service at 1:00 P.M. at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, followed by a Graveside burial at 2:00 P.M.
There will be a gathering after the services at his sister Tonya's house, 1768 E. Dartmouth Street, Mesa, Arizona 85203.
