Charles E. Swingle, Jr.
July 28, 1927 -- August 4, 2017
90, beloved husband of the late Harriet Swingle, dear father of Charles "Bud" (Diane) Swingle, Larry (Terri) Swingle and Leslie Morgan; devoted grandfather of Kelly (Bob) Muntan, Grant Swingle, Chaz Swingle, Noah Morgan and Emily Morgan; dear great grandpa to Jesse Muntan, passed away peacefully Friday, August 4, 2017.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Charles and Harriet lived in Seminole, FL for 40 years, where they were long-time members of Aldersgate Methodist Church. Charles previously worked at J&L Steel in Pittsburgh and Publix in Seminole. As a young man, he was a jazz musician, playing clarinet and sax. He enjoyed spending time with family including nephew Tom with Mary Ellen and co-grandparent Sharon Pritchard.
Services are private. Donations may be made to: Suncoast Hospice Foundation by calling 727-523-2441.
