Charles Guarneri Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 24, 2016.

Charles James Guarneri II, left this world on August 16, 2016 a mere 45 years from the day his beautiful soul first entered this world on August 16, 1971. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends passing with a beautiful smile on his face in true chuck fashion making sure to take care of us one last time by letting us know he saw something beautiful and he was going to be okay.

Chuck was predeceased by his mother Jacqueline Guarneri (April 23, 2016) and his father Charles J. Guarneri (July 15, 2016). Father-in-law, Reverend Philip V. Bayliss (June 21, 2001)

Chuck is survived by his soulmate/wife Laura Bayliss Guarneri, Three young children the lights of his life; Son, Charles J. III (CJ), twin girls Addison Faith and Wynter Grace of Missouri City, TX.

Survived also are his two special Sisters, Melissa Guarneri of Milford CT, and Kimberly Femia wife of Tony Femia, South Salem New York.
Mother-in-law Judy Bayliss, Sister-in-law Teresa Bayliss and Brother-in-law Philip Bayliss II who all reside in Hagerstown, Maryland. Several nieces and nephews, and a magnitude of friends who he personally considered family.

Known best as "Chuck" to those lives he touched by his special unique presence unknowingly leaving a massive imprint forever in hearts and souls ocean to ocean. Knowing Chuck is to know you walked away a changed person for the better from receiving the gift of experience of how "True untarnished Love" feels.

Chuck was born on August 16, 1971 and lived in Stamford CT for most of his life until moving to Texas in 2009. He attended Brunswick School and graduated in 1990. After graduating Brunswick he attended the University of Maryland in addition did a semester in Hawaii before graduating in 1994 from University of Maryland.

Chuck began his career in the energy trade business in 1999 where he started as a Business Analyst. After 17 years in the business, he built his way up to CIO of the Americas for Mercuria Energy, one of the top energy trading firms in the world.

Chucks work ethic was beyond compare working tirelessly putting pride into his work. Dedicating himself fully to every task or challenge working until completed to perfection, despite the hour on the clock.

Chuck had a great influence on those who worked alongside him. He treated everyone with equal respect. He saw the person for who they were not the title they held. He had the ability to see the full potential in his colleagues and was an integral part of many people's advances at work. He always strived to provide everyone an opportunity to excel while encouraging confidence to see the best in themselves. True "Chuck Fashion".

Much like his late mother, Chuck's sense of calm would radiate to those around him. Chuck was a beacon of light and an amazing soul. He was the rock and the foundation that held everyone together no matter the situation.

He will always be remembered for his never ending humor and unforgettable laugh and the true love of loving and living the life he had made for himself and his family.

Chuck's friendship was a priceless gift. He had an uncanny way of making everyone feel they were important and they truly mattered. He did all things authentically and whole heartedly.

One of Chuck's favorite pastimes was to cook for his loved ones. He enjoyed preparing a cooking extravaganza. Always taking pleasure in seeing the enjoyment on the faces congregating around his table filled with friendship, love and laughter.

While Chuck left this earthly world far too soon. His love and dedication for his family was one of his top attributes. He held a job that required a lot of travel, but was always available for his family. While away from them he would say these exact words "I miss my wife and kids and can't wait to get back home to them".

His legacy, forever firmly planted in his children. He planted the seed of life lessons of how to live and love into his children's' souls. He did not do this by merely spoken words but truly being a living example.

He loved his wife beyond compare. Since February of 1995 they became soulmates and best friends. After 17 years of marriage, he would still bring his wife fresh flowers weekly and regularly surprised her and the kids with little gifts he would pick up on his way home because he wanted to.... It made him happy to bring home little surprises.

Those who knew him loved him, those who loved him are better people because of him and will forever have a void in their lives but will honor his legacy and live their lives by the motto "What would Chuck do…" Chuck had the uncanny insight to enjoy the little things in life, he knew that one day he would look back and realize that they were the big things.
