Betty, my heart breaks for you! You and Charles always impressed me with your love for each other and you two seemed made for each other! The blessing of a life like you two shared is rare! I am confident that your zest for life and enjoying each others company remained until the end!
At this time of loss I am unable to imagine your grief. I remember so well the last time I saw you and Charles was at Virginia's funeral. As I was growing up you made a big impression on me and I always admired your can-do spirit!
During the coming days of profound grief, please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sending a big hug and please know how much you are loved! I remember the house where Charles grew up and how beautiful it was there! Also, thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures! Charles was truly an officer and a gentleman. With deepest condolences, Sonny

Aunt Betty, Steve and family: Uncle Charles will be missed by all who knew him. We always enjoyed sitting and talking with him when we had visits in Hudson and in Todd. I hope that God will grant his wondrous peace to each of you during this time of sadness and in the days to come. We hope to see you Saturday but it depends on how Terry's legs are. We love each and every one of you and you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
