Obituary

Charles (Charlie) Abell was born in Columbas Ohio on September 1, 1929. He lived in Marion Indiana and graduated from Marion High School. He graduated from Indiana University and graduated from Jefferson Medical School located in Philadelphia Pa in 1956. While in school Charles married Genevieve Marie Paulic in 1950. In 1961 the family moved to southern California where he served as Capitan/chief of OBGYN in the Air Force at George Air Force Base. After his service ended he joined the staff at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana California. He worked as an Obstetrician there for 32 years. He retired in September of 1992. ...

He graduated from Indiana University and graduated from Jefferson Medical School located in Philadelphia Pa in 1956. While in school Charles married Genevieve Marie Paulic in 1950.

In 1961 the family moved to southern California where he served as Capitan/chief of OBGYN in the Air Force at George Air Force Base. After his service ended he joined the staff at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana California. He worked as an Obstetrician there for 32 years. He retired in September of 1992.

Charles is survived by his wife Genevieve (Jean) and their four children: Malinda, Elisabeth Ann, Cynthia, and Charles (Rick); six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Charles had many accomplishments, not only his career but he also tried his hand at artistic pursuits (sculpture, woodworking and bookbinding), and working at their mountain cabin. After retirement he life including dancing and extensive travel with Jean.
