Cindy Keith, Brad, and Tim, When the Hafelis moved to Bon Brae in the late 60s, the Albers family across the street soon were among our dearest friends. Chuck was a great neighbor, a loving husband and father, a valued softball teammate, and a true Christian man. Though our paths seemed to cross less and less over the years, the occasional meetings always included heartfelt hugs, catching up on our families, and great sharing of memories. Chuck was a terrific man! Our prayers go out to the entire family in this very difficult time.

Chuck (Charlie to us Tekes) was my "Top Teke", my Big Brother as a pledge, and the man who convinced me to pledge TKE. He was a great inspiration and role model for me and many other young men. In living his life Chuck exemplified the Christian and American values to which most of us aspire. Over the years, I often thought of Chuck, used him as a measure of how to live life, and held him in my prayers.
Cindy, to you and the rest of the family, please accept my sincere and loving condolences.

My Big Brother ( Tau Kappa Epsilon-Wayne State) Charlie Albers, was and will always be a friend, a mentor, an inspiration on how one should live their life. His belief in the good in everyone, reaching out to guide and help those in need, to "be there" provided me a foundation for a career in education. Thank you "big brother" for being a part of my life. Yours In The Bond....Bernie
