I will miss you and will always remember you as "Captain Charlie". You knew how to take care of me all those hours on the golf course. You meant a lot to me growing up and my late father when he was alive. God bless you Charlie...heaven gained a new angel!

My condolences and best wishes to the Allred family. I will miss Charlie always around the course with a smile on his face and no matter how bad a golf day you were having, it seemed to always get better when he rode up.
Even though I only joined Forest Oaks in June, I knew Charlie back when I was a teenager and my father was a member until he passed away in 1990.
I know Charlie touched so many during his life and they will all miss the Captain.

It is hard to believe that it has been 34 years since I worked with Charlie at Lambeth Const. Those were the years when David and Shannon were at the helm, Bob Reece was at the main office and Alan Starr, Ellington, Red, and the others were at "the yard" and Charlie was the office manager.
I seem to remember Charlie calling every Thursday morning, I think it was, to set up a tee time at Forest Oaks for the upcoming weekend or monday mornings rehashing a Duke game with our resident NC State fan Bob Reece. Time has past so fast ...... I haven't thought of those days in years.
Charlie was always kind and thoughtful and a great person with whom to work. Rest in peace. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
