Marsha and kids:
Charles was a special servant to me and many others. He modeled Jesus in that life was not about him but about others.

To Marcia and Family....
I am sorry to say I am only just now finding out about Charlie!!! I am so very sorry to hear of Charlie's passing!! Tears certainly came to my eyes when LuEllen told me last week while visiting Clara. What a great person Charlie was! I worked for Bank South as well, but did not know him then. I did loans, but different types of loans, on the branch level). Every time I would ask Charlie how he was feeling, even though I knew he wasn't doing so well, he still had a smile on his face, and would tell me he was doing great!! He always had a great smile!!!
I am here for you, Marsha if there is anything at all I can do for you!!!! My heart and my hand go out to you!!! Fondly, Robin Kurtzman

Charlie was a loan officer at Bank South in Commercial Lending at the time I served as his asset administrator. I thought it funny when Anita and Susan, my supervisors, would tell me to hang in there because Charlie didn't mean any harm by the crazy things he would say. Though his humor was wry, his heart and generosity were tremendous.
When I left the bank to become a teacher, Charlie gave me a fond farewell and the offer of a pay raise if I would stay because I had stayed with him the longest. I have often thought of Charlie and our clients because they knew as I have known for the past 26 years - there is no one like Charlie. His dedication to his work and doing right by his clients was to be admired. I wish his family many days of peace, love, and laughter, as Charlie would have it no other way.

I had the pleasure of working with Charlie for almost a quarter of a century at Fulton/Bank South. What amazed me the most is Charlie was always happy, cheerful and possessing a wry sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers to all. Phil Larkins

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Charles through his association with REIT Funding. I always enjoyed his calls because he was such an upbeat personality. He could always make me laugh. He will be greatly missed.

Charlie was one of the true gentlemen of the world. He was also one of the most fun. He was a client of mine for about 12 years and grew to love he and Marcia both. The twinkle in his eye will be missed. Prayers for his family.

I had the pleasure of working with Charles when he was on the Board of the Country Club of Roswell. He was very committed to the club and it showed. Visits with him very never dull! I will miss him! Helen Cease

marcia and family:
like you i have only the greatest feeling for having had Charlie in my life. His wisdom, words and partnership made me such a more complete person. although still a long way fro truly complete i do know that Charlie loved Jesus, his family and friends. He was willing to go to any length to be of assistance to all he knew and some he didn't.
I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR HIS FRIENDSHIP AND COMMITMENT TO ME AND MY FAMILY.
I WILL SEE YOU TUESDAY.
