Obituary

Charles Gilbert Bell, 62, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in a local hospital. He was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Charles was a graduate of Brainerd High School class of 1966; received a degree in Music Education from Middle Tennessee State University and Masters in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee Tech. He had been a school teacher at Rockwood High School, band director at Red Bank High School for 6 years and retired from Marion County High School. Charles Gilbert Bell, 62, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in a local hospital. He was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Charles was a graduate of Brainerd High School class of 1966; received a degree in Music Education from Middle Tennessee State University and Masters in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee Tech. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Gilbert Bell, Jr. and Ina Rowe Bell.
Survivors include his former wife, Debbie Mowery; step-daughter, Angie Ellis and her husband, Chris of Red Bank, TN; three step-grandchildren, Haleigh, Hannah and Joseph Ellis; two brothers, William Alexander Bell and his wife Norma of Hendersonville, TN and Rowe G. Bell and his wife, Wanda of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
