CHARLES (Charlie) ADOLPH BOURGEOIS, (87), of Winter Park, died on Monday, October 17, 2016. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Charlie moved to Central Florida in 1963. He retired 1989 as advertising executive for Sears, Roebuck and Co. after 42 years of employment. He loved golf, traveling, Cajun food, a good martini and his family.
Charlie was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Joy Ann. Additionally, he was preceded in death by his sister Emily Cary and grandson Jordan Bourgeois. He is survived by his brother Nick Bourgeois and sister Melba (Jack) Benson; his four children Clayton Bourgeois of Winter Park, Karen (Larry) Price of Birmingham, AL, Craig (Laurel) Bourgeois of The Woodlands, TX and Kathy (Fernando) Alvare of Wesley Chapel; eight grandchildren Travis (Brooke) Bourgeois, Erin (Paige) Price, Lane Bourgeois, Drew Price, Hayley Bourgeois, Ferni Alvare, Corey Price and Joy Bourgeois and one great grandson Taylor Price.
Services at 10:30 on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 7520 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 5873 North Dean Road, Orlando, Florida 32817.

Unc Charlie was always considered the 'fun' uncle -- ready with a funny joke and quick hug. He will be missed and a Beefeater martini will be lifted in his memory. Much love and peace to all. PC and Jim
