Obituary

Charles David Brewer, 90, was received into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, November 23, 2013. He served in the U.S. Navy SeaBees in World War II, a charter member of the Rockledge United Methodist Church and retired in 1993 after working for numerous companies at the Kennedy Space Center. He was a lifetime member of the Louisville Lodge No. 196, Louisville, Ill Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ruth, his brothers Arthur and Wayne Brewer, and his sister Mary. He is survived in death by his daughters and sons-in-law Sandy and Rod Fitzgerald, Kathy and Jim Worcester, Beth and Bill Kinsella, and Dodi and Roy...
Charles David Brewer, 90, was received into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, November 23, 2013.
He served in the U.S. Navy SeaBees in World War II, a charter member of the Rockledge United Methodist Church and retired in 1993 after working for numerous companies at the Kennedy Space Center. He was a lifetime member of the Louisville Lodge No. 196, Louisville, Ill Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ruth, his brothers Arthur and Wayne Brewer, and his sister Mary.
He is survived in death by his daughters and sons-in-law Sandy and Rod Fitzgerald, Kathy and Jim Worcester, Beth and Bill Kinsella, and Dodi and Roy Sheffield. He had 6 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Gwen Erwin, his brother Bill Brewer and many nieces and nephews.
He was a beloved father and a quiet and thoughtful man who was respected by many. Everyone who knew him felt his devotion to his family and friends.
The viewing will be held November 25 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South U.S. Highway 1, Rockledge, FL from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The funeral will be held on November 26 at the Rockledge United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with internment following at Florida Memorial Gardens.
