Charles K. Donnelson, 92, passed away at his home August 20, 2013 in Arlington, WA. He was born to Guy and Ruth Donnelson April 24, 1921 in Marshalltown, IA. After a serving in the U.S. Marines during WWII as a paratrooper in the South Pacific he settled in Arlington where he became the manager of the Cascade Valley Hospital laboratory. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Chuck was a loving husband and father who enjoyed being with his family as well as traveling and genealogy. Chuck is preceded by his second wife of 27 years, Irene Donnelson in 2002. Surviving Charles is his wife Viola Donnelson of Arlington whom he married in 1946 and again in 2005; sons, Rod (Diane) Donnelson, Jim (Carla) Donnelson, Stan Lund; daughters, Debbie Bryant, Elise Dufour, Inezanne Skougard, 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013, 3:00 p.m. at the Arlington Free Methodist Church, 730 E. Highland Dr., Arlington, WA, 98223.
