Charles E. Farnham, 85, of Melbourne died Tuesday morning (3/11/14) at a local hospital. A native of Fairview, Penn. He came to the Melbourne area in 1959 from Avonia, Penn. Charles worked at NASA where he was a heavy equipment operator that helped prep the area for the shuttle launches.
He is survived by two sons: Donald (Betty) of Melbourne, Danny (Nancy) of Lakeland; three grandchildren: Dannielle Burkert, Debra Swider, Dustin; and seven great-grandchildren: Alyssa Burkert, Lauren and Courtney Bass, Reed and Rylee Swider, Dior, and Daylen.
