Charles Marc Hendrix was born June 11, 1977 in Santa Rosa, California. He passed away at his home in Temple, Texas March 16, 2012 at the age of 34. Charlie was inducted into the United States Army September 12, 2005 and served valiantly in Iraq where he was injured. During his service he was awarded the Iraq Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Amy Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon.
Survivors include his parents Bill and Peggy Estep of Novato, CA and two brothers Scott Hendrix and Dean Estep also of California.
Inurnment services with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, 650 Bugeia Lan, Novato, California.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
