Holston, Charles S., 75, of Louisville passed away on Thursday October 17, 2013 at Kindred Hospital. He was a retired employee of American Commercial Barge Line, a catholic by faith, and an Air Force Veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Holston. He is survived by his sons, Timothy and Scott (Wanda) Holston; a brother, James Holston; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Mr. Holston's life will be held at 10 am Monday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Home of the Innocence. Online condolences may be left at, www.archlheadysouthernfh.com.

I met Charlie in 1972 and remained good friends with him until the day he passed. He was like another member of our family and will be greatly missed by all. Sleep well, Budda.
