Charles F James., 68 retired Truck Driver passed away May 11, 2014. He was born July 20, 1945 to Harry and Jo Anita (Day) James in Cushing, OK. Charles served his country in Vietnam War retired after 20 years in the Navy. He married Connie Stickney on November 5, 1966. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jean Treadwell. Survived by his wife, Connie James; sons, Robert (Melissa) James, Michael James, Jason James, brother, Larry (Janet) James; grandchildren, Arica and Ian James. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Thursday May 15, 2014 at Westside Free Will Baptist Church, 3310 W. MacArthur Rd. Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Westside Free Will Baptist.

Connie, so sorry to hear about Frank. You and the kids will be in our prayers, but please find some comfort in the fact he is no longer hurting, as I know he has been ill for quite awhile. I really enjoyed the pictures and had forgotten how much he looked like Grandpa Day. He will be missed by all of us and forever in our hearts.
