Charles Edward Little, a native of Pontotoc, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, March 7th. He was born June 2, 1936. He is preceded in death by his father A. C. Little, mother Loyce Little and his precious daughter Regina Lynn Little. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Roma Jean Little, two sons, Randy (Diane) Little and Dale (Kelly) Little, four grandchildren, Ryan (Kelly), Hannah, Brinkley & Hadley, and one great grandson, Aidan. He is also survived by sisters: Jo Bost of Senatobia, Mississippi. Jimmie (Gerald) Gatlin of Saraland, nieces, nephews and many other relatives. Charles Edward Little, a native of Pontotoc, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, March 7th. He was born June 2, 1936. He is preceded in death by his father A. C. Little, mother Loyce Little and his precious daughter Regina Lynn Little. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Roma Jean Little, two sons, Randy (Diane) Little and Dale (Kelly) Little, four grandchildren, Ryan (Kelly), Hannah, Brinkley & Hadley, and one great grandson, Aidan. He is also survived by sisters: Jo Bost of Senatobia, Mississippi. Jimmie (Gerald) Gatlin of Saraland, nieces, nephews and many other relatives. Mr. Little was a Satsuma City Councilman from 1968 – 1980 and Mayor from 1980-1996. He loved working with all of the council members and the people of Satsuma. He started selling cars in 1964 at Little's Pure Oil Station and later moved down the highway to the present location of Little's Auto Sales. He was very active in the Alabama Independent Auto Dealers Association and was president in 1995 and also the president of the Mobile Chapter. He was named Quality Dealer in 1994. Mr. Little loved his church and was ordained as a deacon of First Baptist Church Satsuma in 1976 and served on numerous committees. Mr. Little loved to hunt with the boys and spend time with the grandchildren and great-grandson. Viewing will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home Saraland. The services will be held at First Baptist Satsuma on Tuesday March 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
