Visiting Lamerle always included a scrumptious breakfast with blueberries from her freezer, talks about our families' geneaology, and lots of stories about me and my Culp cousins, told with humor and affection. Her bright eyes twinkled when she'd tell about her travels with grandchildren. To me, she was always a beautiful, charming and gracious Southern lady.
