Obituary

McGehee, Charlotte Ladd, age 87, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2012 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was a member of Fountain City Presbyterian Church, the Chapel Bible Class, and Presbyterian Women. She attended UT and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She retired from South Central Bell Telephone Co. Preceded in death by parents, James F. and Rosalie Wallace Ladd; brother and sister-in-law, Wallace and Jean T. Ladd. Survivors include husband of 66 years, Robert D. McGehee; daughter, Carol Ladd McGehee; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 pm Friday with a chapel service to follow at 3 pm...

The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 pm Friday with a chapel service to follow at 3 pm with Rev. Darryl Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Fountain City Presbyterian Church, 500 Hotel Ave., Knoxville, TN 37918. Arrangements by Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr. Condolences may be made offered at www.lynnhurstchapel.com
