Cheri Jeanette Bellach, age 40, of Rogers passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville after an 18-month battle with cancer.
Cheri was born on April 29, 1972 to Robert Atchley of Odessa, Texas, and Nancy Calaway of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Cheri Atchley married Thomas Bellach on February 26, 2004 in Reno, Nevada. Cheri was a graduate of Odessa high school in Odessa, Texas and had a bachelor degree from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas where she graduated at the top of her class. Cheri was recognized by her employer in March of 2011 as a twenty year employee and continued employment at Walmart as a Senior Project Specialist until recently when her disease became too advanced for her to work.
Cheri loved scrap booking but most of all card making with her friends. In past years she and her friends spent countless hours making greeting cards. She was a demonstrator for a card making company for several years and met many people in the community with similar interests.
Cheri is survived by her husband Thomas William Bellach of Rogers, Arkansas, her father Robert Atchley and step mother Merla Atchley of Odessa, Texas, her mother Nancy Kalaway of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, her Grandfather Lyneul Atchley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and her sister Sheri Friday and her husband Mark Friday of Denver City, Texas. Cheri also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2012, at Rollins Funeral in Rogers. Officiating the service will be Dan Daily, a friend of the family.
The family asks that no flowers be sent but instead donations be made to the Circle of Life hospice unit who provided end of life care for Cheri. Please send your donation in Cheri's name to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd, Springdale, 72762, to benefit the new hospice home at Legacy Village in Bentonville.
The family also wishes to thank Cheri's Walmart family for the love and support they showed during Cheri's final 18 months.

Cheri was such a great person, and I know that her impact on my life will continue to be felt for years to come. When she was thinking of moving to a different position at work, she came to me for advice, and we spent lunch times at Las Fajitas sharing life and work experiences and it was special time for me. No matter what the circumstances, Cheri was always smiling and a positive influence. She will truly be missed.

I trained Cheri when she joined my area at our employment a few years back. I ended up learning a lot more from her than she learned from me.
