Chester Crumb was called home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2014. He was born on July 20, 1925 in Newport, TN. Chester served in the United States Army in Europe during WWII, where he earned a Bronze Star for bravery. Chester and his wife, Irene, were owners of King Street Mobile Home Park for 40 years. Chester started many of his days having coffee with his friends. He loved spending time with his family, gardening, going to auctions, and attending services at his church. Chester Crumb was called home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2014. He was born on July 20, 1925 in Newport, TN. Chester served in the United States Army in Europe during WWII, where he earned a Bronze Star for bravery. Chester and his wife, Irene, were owners of King Street Mobile Home Park for 40 years.

Chester started many of his days having coffee with his friends. He loved spending time with his family, gardening, going to auctions, and attending services at his church. He always had a smile on his face and loved helping others.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents, George and Amanda Crumb, his four brothers Laskiah, Hezekiah, LaRue, and Vester Crumb, his two sisters Desiree Odell and Marie Buckner, and his grandson Shawn Clark.

Chester is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Irene Crumb, his two daughters Sharon Clark (Clifton Clark) and Crystal Sapp (Mark Sapp). He will forever be remembered as Papaw by his grandchildren, Stephanie O'Neal, Shana Morgan, and Matthew, Michael, and Mason Sapp, and as "Old" Papaw by his seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron, Kyle and Makayla Morgan, Trevor and Sydney Ball, Chelsea Whalen and his great-great grandson Kaiden Haupt. Chester is also survived by his sister, Nell Wilson, of Alcoa, Tennessee.

A visitation service will be held Thursday, April 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 North U.S. Highway 1, in Cocoa (Sharpes), Florida. His funeral service will be held Friday, April 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the same location, and will be followed by a remembrance celebration of Chester's life at Mercy Church on Rosetine Street in Cocoa.
