My deepest sympathies to my Aunt Jeannie, and my cousins Cindy and Cherie and their families and his wife Lynda. Chris was also my cousin, though I had not seen him in many years. I can't believe he's gone... he was way to young to leave. I know he will be missed by many. I have fond memories of us all growing up together, and good times at our grandparent's home on Mark Avenue. I know he's with my Uncle Jerry now and many others who love him. May the Lord look over his family at this difficult time.

Dear Lynda, My name is Ned Devereaux. I was a friend of Chris and Scott back in the school daze. I found out about Chris too late to attend. I am so sorry. I will tell you that I thought he was the funniest, wildest, coolest guy around. I am sad that we didn't keep in touch. I would have loved to see him have a family and "settle" down. I would like to meet you all.

It doesn't seem that long ago that I had this 'kid' following me around the farm all day as I worked. The boss hoping he didn't take a wrong step and get hurt cause he was only 14 or 15 at the time. He would watch you do something a couple of times and next thing you know he was right in there doing it himself and doing it well. He was smart and likeable, a bit of a smart-alecky kid. He could always get you to crack a smile, even on those days when you didn’t think you had one in you, and I looked forward to seeing him. As we got older and went our separate ways I would keep track of Chris through his dad as I received the family update with my regular haircut. Later in life our paths would cross every now and then while I was out and about, at a concert or by me dropping by the shop on a Saturday to say hi. Chris, you will be missed so very very much, but you will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

Jean, Cindy and Cherie, my heart aches for you. He was such a wonderful person. He loved his family and last time I seen him, he was so excited to tell me about all of you. I loved his beautiful smile.

Chris always made me laugh. He was the best whistler I'd ever met. He could fix things in minutes that took most people hours. He taught me how to change a tire and how to change a crankshaft. He was never irritated when I would ask him how to do something. I looked forward to working with him every day. He managed to stay upbeat even when things were rough. His love for his kids was more than apparent. He took pride in his work and his reputation. Every day he shared his tools, sarcasm, and his sense of humor with me. I'm so fortunate to have known him, and wouldn't have half-a-clue on how to turn a wrench had I not met him. I'm very sad he is gone, but I will never forget how great of a friend he truly was. Rest in Peace Chris, thanks for being you.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there.
I did not die.
Chris you will be missed!
