Christian Patrick "Chris" Quinn, 37 of Clarksville, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 of an apparent heart attack. He was born January 15, 1976 Waynesburg, a son of Sandra Dusha Quinn Shimo and her husband John "Mo" of Washington, and the late James Richard Quinn. Mr. Quinn was a 1996 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and loved wrestling, from midgets through high school. He was working as a coal miner with Alpha Natural Resources at the Emerald Coal Mine in Waynesburg. Christian Patrick "Chris" Quinn, 37 of Clarksville, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 of an apparent heart attack.
He was born January 15, 1976 Waynesburg, a son of Sandra Dusha Quinn Shimo and her husband John "Mo" of Washington, and the late James Richard Quinn.
Mr. Quinn was a 1996 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and loved wrestling, from midgets through high school.
He was working as a coal miner with Alpha Natural Resources at the Emerald Coal Mine in Waynesburg.
Chris was an active volunteer fireman with Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company and the fire company wishes to honor Chris with a Fireman's funeral and final farewell.
He was known for being a very giving, friendly and lovable person and his family meant the world to him.
Surviving in addition to his mother and step-father is a brother, James Quinn and his wife Terri of Masontown, WV; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased in addition to his father, are his maternal grandparents, Walter and Betty Dusha and paternal grandparents, James and Josie Quinn.
Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. the hour of services on Saturday, June 15, 2013 in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Rev. John R. Dorean officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson. Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company will hold a memorial service at 7:45 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 665, Clarksville, PA 15322. Condolences may be expressed online at www.behm-funeralhomes.com.
