Condolences to the family of Miss Teenie. She was a wonderful, sweet person. Being my sister's mother-in-law, she became part of our extended family over 32 years ago. She will be sadly missed.

Warm memories flow into my heart, every time my mind captures, the best years of my life, shared with my Grandma Tenie..
Being the first grandchild, (from the parents of Ernest & Carolyn Munster) offered this amazing flow of New Orleans, Culture of Society, in education that has paved my success. My grandmother's strong knowledge in the food & beverage industry, owning one of the first Dixieland Jazz Venues located on Laurel & Lyons, brought many happy times, to many, including my other grandparents, James & Hazel Glynn. She housed the Lyons Marching Club. Many nights of live music.. Better known for "The House of Shock!" Reason being, the best talent in New Orleans Music Industry played at Munster's. Passion in the flow of food, drinks, music & dance, Miss Tenie conducted this, with her smile of conversation and respect..
Many younger years, we spent together. Shopping at Maison Blanche & Labachies was her special place for birthday & holiday shopping. Having no issues, remembering each grandchild with special long lasting gifts, including at that time...my cousins John, Donna, Lisa, Bobby..my brother Ernie..her son Malcolm..and me Cherie.
Filling our little brown bags with candy from the "Sweet Shop" helping answer the pay phone, for to go orders, smells of hot fried chicken & shrimp, along with her famous roast beef po boys, tickle my nose..when I think of my Grandma Tenie.
Her appreciation for my dance career, started at the age of 2, along with my mother, placed the foot prints of spot lights, up to us riding the bus together, in my teen years to Magazine & State to study with Ballet Hysell. I stayed with her for many, many years, as I bounced from, Metairie to Uptown...
Blessed to give her the first great grandchild, my daughter, Dianthe' ~ Laid the road for many other, amazing grandchildren to follow. To me, she was my gift in happiness, safe haven, honesty, relaxation with many summers, spent at the camp, when she took her 2 week break, to spend with her family and circle of friends. Labeling no one, in her life time, my grandmother welcomed, many with open arms and tons of happy memories.~~
~~Thank you for all you have done for me. I love & will miss you dearly,
