Biography

Christopher Ryan Peistrup, 23, passed away in a motorcycle accident Sept. 3, 2013. Christopher loved motorcycles, country dancing and, most of all, his family and countless friends. His 1,000-watt smile and huge heart will be sorely missed. A life-long resident of Las Vegas, Christopher was born Nov. 11, 1989. Christopher graduated from Rancho High School's Academy of Medicine in 2008. During high school he participated in U.S. Air Force JROTC. After high school, Christopher worked for Santa Fe Station in security. Christopher leaves behind parents, Greg and Kris Peistrup; mother, Staci Peistrup; brother, Bryen; sister, Annemarie Olmeda; brother, Andrew Olmeda Jr.; and grandparents, Gail Krachtus, Bill and Cheryl Rand, and Stew and Jeanne Bell. "Coco" also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins. We will be celebrating Christopher's life and mourning our loss. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, with memorial services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129. Instead of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice.
