Born in Providence, he was a son of Anthony L. Pieranunzi, Sr. and the late Patricia (Marshall) Pieranunzi; brother of Anthony L., Jr., Robert D. and Joseph J. Christopher was an insurance agent for the Mazzotta Insurance Agency and formerly was the owner of Solo Insurance Agency. He was a member and secretary of the Teramano Social Athletic Club where is enjoyed making homemade wine and homemade sausage with his father, family and friends. He was Allstate Wrestler at West Warwick High School. As an avid dart player, he became State Champion.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. with a funeral on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
