Obituary

Christopher J. Willman (51) of Attica, died Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born August 20, 1963 in Attica to Richard and Joan (Kin) Willman. Chris was a graduate of Seneca East High School, class of 1981 and The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Economics and was Market Manager/Agriculture Lender and Vice President of Sutton Bank. He was also active in the family farm operation. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church where he was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. Christopher J. Willman (51) of Attica, died Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born August 20, 1963 in Attica to Richard and Joan (Kin) Willman. Chris was a graduate of Seneca East High School, class of 1981 and The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Economics and was Market Manager/Agriculture Lender and Vice President of Sutton Bank. He was also active in the family farm operation. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church where he was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. Chris enjoyed running, cleaning, and playing with his dog, Dottie. He was a pilot, like his dad, and loved riding his Goldwing.
Chris is survived by his wife Dana (Miller) Willman, son Austin Willman, two daughters Marissa and Jaclyn Willman, mother Joan Willman, all of Attica; two brothers - Mike (Melanie) Willman of Delaware and Mark (Teresa) Willman of Attica, and two sisters, Beth Nelson of Independence and Barb (Chadd) Buurma of Willard. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Willman and brother: Dennis Willman and sister: Karen Willman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Fr. Paul A. Fahrbach and Fr. Joseph Szybka conducting the Mass. Burial will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 2-8 P.M. at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, F.A.C.T. of Seneca County, or the Seneca East Music Boosters through the funeral home.
