I worked with Cindy for 6 years and could always count on her take excellent care of her residents. She told me many times how much she loved her job and residents. We had many conversations about her family and there was nothing she would not do for them. I loved her dearly and many of us have a void that will never be filled. Rest in Peace Cindy.

The people of our State, along with with her brothers and sisters of the Oklahoma State Workers Union, have lost a Union sister, a dear friend, and an esteemed colleague. While she is no longer with us, her memory will be with us always.
By her service to the People of Oklahoma as a state employee, and by her membership in the Oklahoma State Workers Union, Cindy Plumley exemplified the dedication to our people and to our state that marks the best of us.
The death of a loved one or dear friend brings sorrow that words can do little to mend, but we offer these words hoping that they will bring some solace in your time of grief, and as testimony of the love and respect of her fellow members of the Oklahoma State Workers Union.

During this difficult time family, friends and even strangers want to express how much they care for your family by a note or a warm hug. Proverbs I7:17 says "A true companion is loving all the time, and is a brother that is born for when there is distress."

Cindy was one of the best nurses I've worked with. We had our ups and downs with each other but in the end we always worked them out together, ending up with jokes and laughs. She showed me alot of respect and I had alot of respect for her, she spoke her mind and kept things real. She was easy for me to get along with and we had alot of good times. She loved her children and grand babies very much;she always had me laughing and the harder I made her laugh the harder she had me laughing. I only hope when the day comes that I'm a nurse I can be as good as her....she will be dearly missed...we love you cindy!
