Clarence Keith Brinson passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 after a brief illness at the age of 82. Keith was born in Bangs, TX on November 21, 1930 to Clarence Ernest and Nannie Ruth Brinson. He served in the U.S. Navy as a radioman in the Lighter-Than-Air Corps (Blimps), during the Korean War. Later, he attended and graduated from the University of Texas. An accountant, he worked for most of his career as the comptroller for hospitals, most notably in Weslaco and New Braunfels, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother Billy Allen Brinson, sister Mildred Ann Vardeman, and grandson Joseph Quinn Patterson. He is survived by his wife...
Clarence Keith Brinson passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 after a brief illness at the age of 82. Keith was born in Bangs, TX on November 21, 1930 to Clarence Ernest and Nannie Ruth Brinson. He served in the U.S. Navy as a radioman in the Lighter-Than-Air Corps (Blimps), during the Korean War. Later, he attended and graduated from the University of Texas. An accountant, he worked for most of his career as the comptroller for hospitals, most notably in Weslaco and New Braunfels, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother Billy Allen Brinson, sister Mildred Ann Vardeman, and grandson Joseph Quinn Patterson. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Betty Jo An Brinson, his brother Scott Boone Brinson, his son and daughter-in-law Mike and Kim Brinson, daughter and son-in-law Jo Evelyn and David Patterson and daughter and son-in-law Shirley Ann and Charlie Downey. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
