Clarence Barry Tebeau died peacefully at home on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Garden City, Georgia. He was born in Savannah, Georgia on December 6, 1948. He graduated from Robert W. Groves High School in 1967. Barry wore many different "hats" during his working career. He worked for Grumman and in client services with Executives Wood Team Building. He retired from the ILA at the Georgia Ports Authority. Barry was an avid sports fan. He loves his Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He had a wry sense of humor and lived a colorful life. Barry wished to be cremated and his ashes privately scattered by the family at a later date. ...
Clarence Barry Tebeau died peacefully at home on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Garden City, Georgia. He was born in Savannah, Georgia on December 6, 1948. He graduated from Robert W. Groves High School in 1967. Barry wore many different "hats" during his working career. He worked for Grumman and in client services with Executives Wood Team Building. Barry was an avid sports fan. He loves his Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He had a wry sense of humor and lived a colorful life. Barry wished to be cremated and his ashes privately scattered by the family at a later date.

Barry was predeceased by his parents W. Leverne Tebeau Sr. and Dorothy "Dot" (Slade) Tebeau; his sister Pat T. Murphy; his ex-wife Dana Phelps Tebeau Smith and his beloved only child Holly Tebeau.

Barry is survived by two brothers. Wilfred L. Tebeau Jr. (Bubba) and wife Deb (Quidgeon) and Freddy Tebeau and wife Libby (Burnett).

A memorial service will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory, Garden City, on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The last few years Barry has struggled with his lifetime of living with diabetes. The family would like to thank his neighbor Bonnie Turner for her assistance to us during that time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the .
