Lake Charles - Claude "Dago" Joseph Areneaux, 61, passed away October 30, 2012, at his residence.
He was born in New Orleans and grew up in the French Quarter where he worked until he moved to Lake Charles 5 ½ years ago. While he lived in Lake Charles he worked for L'auberge du Lac Hotel and Casino as a bartender. He loved to play Bingo and would return to New Orleans to spend time with his family.
He will be truly missed by his niece/godchild, Julie Camardelle Jensen and great nieces, Hannah and Hailey; his sister, Adriene McLain and husband, Kudzo of New Orleans.
A special thanks to Margaret "Margie" Huber Heard for helping Claude stay on the right path in life. Also, a thank you to those who helped Claude get back and forth to work, meetings, appointments and bingo.
He was preceded in death by his mother Beulah Arceneaux, his sister, Elizabeth Camardelle, his brother in law, Terry Camardelle and his nephew, Martin "Bino" Jensen.
