The happiest I ever witnessed my father in the forty-five years I knew him, was with my wonderful step mother. She showed me compassion, respect and acceptance, I had never known. She shared our joys, heartaches and demonstrated her love in everything she did. I am a better Husband, Father and Grandpa for having had her to learn from. Thanks, Mom.

My sincerest condolences for your loss. Psalms 86:17 tells us that God is our helper and comforter. So may you allow Him to help and comfort you through this very difficult time.

To the Candish Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
